For refreshments, you don’t have to go home in between acts at the World of Witte de With, as apart from lots of visual art, theatre, performances, workshops, debates, etc., your inner self will also be catered for.
In Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, for example, Restaurant De Aalmoes will be taking over the museum’s Espressobar. Fans of top chef Emmy Walburg’s fair kitchen can go there the entire festival. When the weather’s nice also on the museum’s patio.
Opposite Boijmans, in front of Arminius, there’s festival restaurant Picknick, for a moment’s reflection (and leafing through The World of Witte de With’s programme booklet) and for meeting up, with a snack and a drink.
At Blaak 10, during the entire festival weekend, Augusta Elizabet Wind a.k.a. Biefstuk (Steak) will be serving her homemade soups in her special way and the Ro Theatre’s City canteen will be opening their terrace doors on the Friday and Saturday for nice food and drink. Around the Miele Space Station Rotterdam, further along Witte de Withstraat, you will find a street lounge where you can treat yourself to a delicious festival snack and a nice drink.
And, surrounding Witte de Withstraat, there are, of course, many restaurants, gastropubs, bars and cafés that are nice places to stay during The World of Witte de With.
